CERES Hardware: Embedded Systems, Signal Acquisition & Field Durability

STM32 C/C++ PCB tasarımı LoRaWAN/GSM/Wi-Fi IoT

CERES hardware design carries the typical challenges of a measurement device that has to work reliably in the field: precise analog signal acquisition, managing dozens of electrodes, low power consumption, and resistance to harsh weather and transport conditions.

Embedded system and signal acquisition

The control layer that drives current injection and voltage measurement runs on STM32 microcontrollers, developed in C and C++. As the electrode count grows, we need a high-speed acquisition/recording chain that scans many measurement points in sequence with accurate timing; data from geophysical and industrial sensors in the field flows through this chain.

From electronics to mechanical design

I design custom PCB layouts for the field electronics and follow the manufacturing process end to end. Since the device usually ends up in open terrain, we design industrial-grade mechanical enclosures resistant to shock and weather — no matter how good the electronics are, the device is useless if its enclosure can't survive the field.

Remote monitoring and real-time control

We integrate IoT, LoRaWAN, GSM, and Wi-Fi communication modules into the geophysical systems for remote monitoring and data transfer. I develop automated data acquisition and control software with GUI interfaces so field staff/engineers can follow the measurement in real time.

From prototype to production

Turning a prototype into a repeatable, tested product is its own engineering process: I build custom test benches and simulation setups for high-voltage endurance and performance validation, and manage supplier processes and compliance testing.
